It is Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, and these are momentous days in early June this summer of 25.

This is the warning.

Will it be a summer like 1968?

One that history recalls as a moment where it felt like the wheels were coming off, or perhaps

this time maybe the wheels will come off. What is it that we are seeing and what will happen

next? There are a lot of people talking about that. And what I want to do today is say some

things about what I think is going to

happen next and before I do I want to establish some credibility some

credibility based on what I have said would happen over the last 10 years so

you can appreciate what it is that I'm saying will happen next and make a decision about whether what I'm saying makes sense or not,

to use your own intelligence, your own clear and free thinking abilities to understand what it is that you're seeing.

Here's what I said about Donald Trump in 2012. He was confronted

by Wolf Blitzer about it. Steve Schmidt, who managed John McCain's campaign four years ago,

he says this about you. He says, for three and a half years, a lot of people who should have known

better have been complicit in cowtowing to a Republican whack pack of which

Trump is a leading member. The result is a diminished Republican brand that appears unhealthy to

millions of Americans who are looking for an alternative to the status quo. I denounced the

birther lie. And when he came down the escalator in Trump Tower, I was among the very first

people to say, yes, he could win the Republican nomination. And I was among the very first to say

he was winning. And I was among the very first to say he had won it. And in September of 2020, I said when he was saying that he would never

accept the results of an election unless he won, that it would lead to violence. And it did.

This behavior that we've seen will usher in a new destructive era in American democracy.
