The push for mass deportations. Well, it's been slowing down, kind of moving, but they're having some trouble with it.

It could soon get the backing of a major order. President Donald Trump

is allegedly set to invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 as soon as today, they said, but we'll see.

Now, he discussed using this order when he was on the campaign trail. This would give the president

of the United States extremely broad authority to deport

basically any non-citizen.

Now, the allegation comes from CNN White House reporter Alina Trin, and here's what she wrote on

X. She said, quote, new, the Trump administration is expected to invoke the Alien

Enemies Act of 1798, a sweeping wartime authority.

It's not just wartime, but I'll get into that.

In the coming days, she said sources familiar with the move tell these individuals and herself.

She says the move is designed to speed up the president's mass deportation pledge and adds the

announcement which could be made as soon as tomorrow today will come in the form of a presidential

proclamation the move would likely pave the way for quicker removals of certain immigrants read
