In the year 2024, the people of the United States held an election for the highest office in the land.

A momentous political contest in which the citizens of that great republic would come together

to select the two smartest, wisest, and most honorable people in the entire nation,

and then to choose between them a single leader in whom to entrust the management of the American federal government

and the nuclear codes.

This is that story.

I'm just kind of bummed about the election.

Really? Why?

I know it's several months away, but I'm afraid the election is just going to wind up being a rematch

between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. And honestly, I'm not thrilled about either of those candidates.

I don't know. A year is a long time. And Donald Trump is by no means a shoe in.

He's down in the polls and there are plenty of heavyweight conservative candidates

lining up to challenge him for the Republican nomination.

Really? Like who?

Well? Beholds the Lock phone, oh, I guy, the Republican nomination. Really? Like who? Well?

Beholds lock for no white guy, the former running mate,

refused to certify the count will make it out the gate.
