trump's tariff policy a federal appeals court temporarily pausing a lower court decision that struck down the levees last night, allowing them to go

back into effect for now. Megan Kassella has all the latest in this back and forth. Megan.

Hey, Melissa, a huge back and forth on the trade front today. Starting with that ruling overnight,

of course, from the Court of International Trade, saying the president did not have the authority to impose most of the tariffs we've seen

so far.

But the latest, as you just laid out, is that the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit

did side with the administration, granting their request for an emergency stay at least

temporarily.

So the Court said that until June 5th, they're giving the plaintiffs some

time to respond here. So a week from today, in the meantime, that means all tariffs that were in
