to election day, there's been an increasing focus on what a second administration of former

President Donald Trump might look like. He has said openly that he plans

to seek a kind of retribution against individuals he feels have wronged him. On Truth Social, just last

month, he wrote, When I win those people that cheated will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the

law, which will include long-term prison sentences.

But what could he really do? Emily Bazelon surveyed 50 legal experts and offers an expansive

look at their concerns. It's in an article in this Sunday's New York Times magazine
