Now, from Moscow to Washington via Kiev and Quebec, one subject is dominating the conversations

of the world's leaders and foreign ministers. Can peace in Ukraine ever be achieved? Now, the Kremlin has confirmed

that U.S. envoy, Steve Whitkoff, met the Russian president in Moscow to discuss a plan

for a 30-day ceasefire. President Putin has said he agrees with the idea, but set out tough

conditions for peace. In a conference call with reporters, his spokesman Dmitri Peskov said a phone call

between Mr. Trump and the Russian leader was expected. Mr. Wiccoff was received by President Putin

late last night. Additional information was provided to the Russian side. And also, through Mr.

Wichkhov, Putin provided information for President Trump.
