It's the media buzz meter with Howard Kurtz.

It's in the low 70s yesterday and today here in Washington, but the political weather is very

turbulent.

Hey there, stick with me today because at the end of the podcast, I want to talk about this

egregiously awful docu-drama about JFK Jr., who I knew, and the lies that it contains.

But I think I've got to open up with story number one.

The war in Iran, this is the weekend, I think, that the growing impact of that ongoing war hit home

in many, many different ways.

And I think people who may have even thought it was a good idea for the Trump administration to attack Iran

because of the nuclear threat, although I say about this, at least six, seven, eight

different rationales that the president and his people have offered as to why, why now,

and why no major address to explain to the American people how we suddenly, you know, you woke up and we're at war with the run.

The global markets opening sharply lower.

The Dow has already dropped a couple thousand. See how it does today.

Oil, over a hundred dollars a barrel, though it's come down a bit from its high.

And similar story in countries around the world. Meanwhile, the idiotic Iranian leadership, which is now

anointed Ayatollah Khmerdi's son as the new supreme leader of that

theocratic dictatorship, you know, have been sending these drone attacks toward other surrounding

Arab countries in the hopes of killing Americans on bases and so forth.

Now says, oh, that was wrong. And we apologize for that. And we're going to stop doing that.

You know, most of the Arab neighbors of the Iranians, the world's leading sponsor of terrorism

and why the Democrats could not vote, whether you like this war or not, whether you think it should continue to be funded without congressional approval, would not go along with, you know, a resolution saying yes, Iran.
