President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order that will impose reciprocal tariffs for many countries tomorrow.

It places an up to 50% tariff on virtually all goods coming into the U.S., which Trump had mostly paused in early April.

Of the hour 18 major trading partners, two-thirds of those trading partners have a deal.

We've sent out 17 letters to countries around the world.

And the rest of those countries that either do not have a deal or have a letter, they will

be hearing from this administration by the midnight deadline tonight.

Meanwhile, an appeals court heard a case alleging the president overstepped his legal authority

to impose many of his sweeping tariffs.

Judges seemed skeptical that Trump can impose tariffs using emergency powers.

The White House has announced Trump's special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Whitkoff,

and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, will travel to Gaza tomorrow.

CNN's Jeremy Diamond explains.

What we do know is that Whitkoff will go into Gaza tomorrow, presumably headed to one of

those Gaza humanitarian foundation sites.

That's the organization run by a private American organization that is backed by Israel

and it is the preferred distribution mechanism for Israel.

It is also one that has been heavily criticized by the United Nations and other humanitarian aid agencies,

particularly as we have seen hundreds of Palestinians who have been shot by Israeli forces as they have tried to make their way to those sites.

Following the meeting, we understand that Whitkoff will speak with President Trump and approve a final new plan for aid distribution,

presumably one that would include the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.
