This is going to be a Sunday potpourri, but we're leading off with something that happened on Saturday, which was after celebrating the death of Robert Mueller, Donald Trump went back onto a social

media site and decided to give a warning to the country of Iran in which he says, quote,

if Iran doesn't fully open without threat, I don't know why he needed without threat there,

the straight of Hormuz within 48 hours of this exact, from this exact point in time,

the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various power plants starting with the biggest

one first. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President Dongey Trump, that was 7.44 p.m.

And that was Saturday the 21st. We are recording this at 1225-ish p.m. on Sunday the 22nd.

So we have about, I don't know, I can't do math though, well, 30 or so hours until this deadline is done.

And honestly, this is all kinds of messed up.

What he's talking about is essentially bombing the country back into some sort of middle-aged

catastrophe.

The human toll of this will be catastrophic.

And then, of course, Iran already has said that they would retaliate.

So it's bleak.

And we're looking at another 30-hour window.

Andrew, is there any upshot to this at all? I feel like it's just

descending into madness. I mean, I guess the upshot would be if it worked, if it worked as a threat, right?
