The Justice Department continues to try to stop the release of the Epstein files.

We know they're violating the law.

We know that contempt proceedings are coming, but they seem awfully slow.

So one option the Oversight Committee gave the DOJ was the appointment of a special master.

Turns out, according to Midas Touch, the DOJ has filed a motion to block the appointment of a independent monitor to release the Epstein files in the Galane Maxwell case.

The DOJ argues that the federal courts lack the authority to enforce the Epstein Transparency

Act and that the monitors that were provided aren't good, whatever.

Bottom line is this.

An independent monitor would be someone that went through the files and made sure

the victim's names were redacted and that everything else was released. But Pam Bondi and the

Justice Department do not want that. They do not want any information released that they haven't

already given to influencers and binders and given

small amounts redacted to the gills in this case because they are protecting Donald Trump

and they are protecting other powerful people because to them it is more important to cover

Trump's ass than justice for the survivors.

And this is, in my mind, this puts Watergate to shame in terms of corruption.

People's lives have been ruined and they are still being ruined.

And our Justice Department, Pam Bondi at the helm, is saying,

fuck you, we don't care.
