Pope Leo said things that are wrong.

He was very much against what I'm doing with regard to Iran.

And you cannot have a nuclear Iran.

Pope Leo would not be happy with the envy zone.

You have hundreds of millions of people dead, and it's not going to happen.

So I can't.

I think he's very weak on crime.

Weak on crime and terrible for foreign policy.

Well, that's what happens when moral authority and political authority stop speaking the same language.

Historically, Western politics worked when the church was moral and the state was strategic.

When they clash this publicly, it's not just a disagreement.

It's a signal that their shared cultural baseline is breaking down.

And that's what we have with this language between Donald Trump and the Pope.

A lot of people are saying that Trump is being anti-Christian when he's saying things against the Pope.

But you have to keep a few things in mind, like, for example, that Donald Trump moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem honoring

biblical ties, also evangelical priorities. Donald Trump allowed churches to endorse candidates

from the pulpit doing that without losing their tax-exempt status. So I think Donald Trump

has been very pro-Christian throughout his career.

He certainly presented that throughout his political career, for sure. And this is a big dust-up with the Pope.

And I don't think we should be surprised by any of this. Donald Trump, if Mother Teresa were still alive today,

he'd get into a fight with Mother Teresa, the same thing with Gandhi.
