Hello and welcome to the Byron York Show, the No Chat Chat podcast. We like to get right into it

and what we're going to get into today is Peter Strock. Remember him? He was notorious,

the rogue FBI agent who ended up being fired after displaying incredible political bias in the Trump

Russia investigation, also had been a very, very big deal in the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

So he's back in the news and I'm going to kind of take a round about way to tell you why.

Now you know there have been endless, endless reports about the Justice Department's pursuit

of Donald Trump. There is the Mar-a-Lago classified documents of error. There is the January 6th

investigation. Lately there have been reports that the Justice Department is also investigating

some unspecified aspects of Trump's post-presidential fundraising. So the Justice Department,

the Biden Justice Department is clearly going after President Biden's predecessor.

Now that itself raises some interesting questions, create some precedents. But what I'm going to

talk about now is there is one case has not received a whole lot of attention in which the Biden

Justice Department is defending a Trump decision. The Department has just released documents in a lawsuit

that sheds new light on one of the Justice Department's worst moments in the Trump era.

So we've got some new documents that are telling us a little more about what's going on in the

aftermath of the Trump-Russian investigation. So here's where Peter Struck comes in. The case

that I'm going to talk about is called Struck V. Garland. The Garland would be Attorney General
