Donald Trump surprised everyone at the Republican National Convention last night.

It's day two of the Republican National Convention. Virginia Allen is on the

ground in Milwaukee with the Daily Signal team and she joins us now.

Virginia, Trump made a surprise appearance at the RNC last night, correct?

Yes, Elizabeth, that's right.

It has been a very exciting two days,

keeping off the RNC.

And former President Donald Trump,

he entered with a bandage on his ear last night.

We weren't sure if he was going to be there on day one,

but he made this really big entrance,

and I think the crowd was just really overwhelmed

to see him and to see him walk in after that

assassination attempt on his life on Saturday with his ear covered he walked up and

kind of took his seat in the box as the crowd was cheering.

And on one side of him was Tucker Carlson

and Congressman Byron Donald's.

And on the other side was his choice

for Vice President, Senator J.D. Vance,

as well as House Speaker Mike Johnson. And like I said, the crowd was really energetic.

This is what they sounded like. And I don't know that I've ever seen Trump look as sober and as emotional as he really did last night entering, but it was very evident that he was pretty overwhelmed by the amount of support that he felt from the crowd here at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
