The Pennsylvania primary will take place Tuesday, May 17th with many looking closely at the GOP Senate primary as recent polls show the race has narrowed down to a near tie between the three candidates: Dr. Mehmet Oz, David McCormick, and Kathy Barnette. The Keystone State represents an important Senate race for the GOP in the 2022 midterms. Political commentator Kathy Barnette has recently soared in the polls creating the three-way race. Following the leak of the Supreme Court draft opinion that would apparently overturn Roe v. Wade, pro-choice activists have been conducting protests outside the house of Justice Samuel Alito, the author of the draft. While Democrats have voiced their support for the protesters to use their First Amendment rights, Republicans have condemned their actions, saying their intimidation of Justices is unethical.
