All right. Good morning. It's Saturday, July the 5th. I'm Ali Valshi. We're expecting a press conference any minute now out of Texas where deadly flash floods have killed at least 24 people. Right now, a massive search is underway for more than 20 young girls who were attending Camp Mystic and all girls summer camp in Texas Hill country. Some of the missing

appear to be as young as eight years old. This all followed a powerful storm that stalled over

Kerr County on Friday, dumping more than 10 inches of rain in just a few hours, which then

triggered a flash flood as the Guadalupe River, which you're looking at, rose more than 25

feet almost instantly. The floodwaters,

the powerful floodwaters, trapped people in their cars, filled homes with water, submerged

entire trees. Government, or Greg Abbott called it, quote, an extraordinary catastrophe. So far,

emergency crews have rescued more than 200 people, but the search continues this morning

under difficult

conditions. I want to go to a press conference in, in Carr County. Let's listen in to the latest.

United States Representative Chip Roy is here with us. Carvel Mayor Joe Herring Jr. will be speaking

briefly and Carville City Manager Dalton Rice. And when we are done,

because we are still in active search and recovery mode, we're going to keep this short.
