He made the Olympic team.

He hasn't competed yet in Italy, but already the president's called him a loser.

And with that, welcome to this episode of Amy and T.J.

How can you be a loser?

You made the Olympic team, Robs. That means you're a winner. No, he's automatically. He's a loser. He hasn't even competed yet. And President Trump, or at least those who support him want to send him home. Yeah, they want to come on. Come on back. Get him out of Italy. Take that jacket off with that polo logo. that Ralph Lauren outfit come Come bring your ass home. Who are we talking about? A guy you never heard of. Hunter Hess. Hunter Hess, who is now probably going to become a household name and certainly appointment television when he finally does compete next week in the Olympics. He's not even scheduled to compete until February 19th, and the president's already talking crap about him.

Okay, and we knew this was coming. It's been a part of it. Yes, you are sending people somewhere else to represent the country in the Olympics.

All of them are getting asked the same question. And they have for a while, Robes, what do you think about representing your country at a time with what's going on there?

Some have been asked directly about the administration.

And I think for the most part, haven't we heard the Olympians handle this pretty well, including Hunter Hess?

Yes, I think it's a delicate dance because, look, in America, we're allowed to express our feelings, whether they're political beliefs or religious beliefs

or just beliefs about any old thing. We're free to express ourselves. And yet, when you are

representing the country, especially on an international stage, one of the highest ones you could

possibly do so at the Olympics, yeah, you're going to be careful. You're going to make sure you're going to try not to offend, yet you're still going to want to be honest and be true

to your beliefs. And I felt like Hunter Hess and a lot of the other athletes have done a very good

job at staying true to what they feel and what they think and trying not to be divisive or offensive. Well, Hunter Hess has stepped in it now. Hunter Hess, if you don't know, he is a freestyle skier. Now, he gets the, you know, help me here, robes. It's the half pipe thing, right? But he goes out there and does all kinds of tricks with regular skis. Right. No, board situation. I got that right? Yes. And so I actually had to look it up because I was making sure that he was in fact a

skier and not a snowboarder. Because of the tricks that they do and where they do it, it's typically

where you would expect to see a snowboarder or a, even a skateboarder. But this is what he does

on skis, which is even harder. And he is one of the best
