Each week we do this.

Two Jews, one in Israel, one outside Israel, talking about Israel and the Jewish world.

From inside and from the outside, we have so much going on in the world, but I just am bursting

because I know normally we wait till the end of the show to hand out our awards, our chutzpah of the week awards and our mensch of the week award.

And normally I'm very patient and reserved and managed to hold it in, but I am bursting with this week's one.

I just can't wait because everybody in this

city in London, and perhaps in the country, is a gog about just the most breathtaking act

of chutzpah. I think any of us can remember, and it involves the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.

I'm shocked. And it involves Christmas parties. And that is, to wind the clock back a year ago, London, like much of the world was in the depths of lockdown

where all kinds of social, not just gatherings, but interaction, social contact was banned,

where you couldn't even go and meet immediate family and some heart-rending stories about

people couldn't be with dying loved ones. it now emerges that in Downing Street at exactly that

time, they were partying. They were having cheese, wine and nibbles in the depths of lockdown.

And this cause of the party has the prime minister on the rack

here in London and it is just the most egregious act of chutzpah you know obviously porous

chonson has had this on again off again relationship with the truth usually they're on a break

but i i wonder i mean does this matter at all?
