are battling five different infernos burning out of control throughout the city, fueled by whipping Santa

In the last hour, the Los Angeles County Sheriff confirmed that five people are dead.

Here you see the Pacific Palisades, a neighborhood tucked between the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

The Palisades fire has tripled in size since this morning and already destroyed at least 1,000 structures, making it the most destructive fire to ever occur in Los Angeles County, according to statistics from the Wildfire Alliance, which is run in part

There are multiple fires, one known as the Eaton Fire, has destroyed more than 10,000 acres
