Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) has announced she will not support Gaetz’s nomination. Rich and Matt note it will only be a matter of time before Sen. Lisa Murkowski (A-AK) announces her opposition as well. But will two other Republican Senators defect? 5:40pm- Linda Kerns—Attorney & Pennsylvania Election Integrity Counsel for the Republican National Committee—joins The Rich Zeoli Show. A recount has been triggered in the U.S. Senate race between Bob Casey and Dave McCormick. In response to the news, McCormick’s campaign said in a statement: “Senator-Elect McCormick’s lead is insurmountable, which the AP made clear in calling the race. A recount will be a waste of time and taxpayer money, but it is Senator Casey’s prerogative. Senator-Elect McCormick knows what it’s like to lose an election and is sure Senator Casey will eventually reach the right conclusion."
