Hello, everybody, and welcome to True Crime Time for Saturday, April 18th, 2026, and I am Cindy Overton.

Woody is unable to record with me today for a few reasons and the episode for what happened to Madison is being delayed, but for good reason.

And I know that soon that will all be put together and you'll understand why.

As always, we continue to ask for justice for Haley and hashtag justice for Barbara.

Miss Barbara's anniversary of her disappearance, and unfortunately what Woody refers to as

their murderversary will be coming up in a few days, a few weeks at this point. But

she is always on our minds, as is getting justice for Haley is always on our mind. And the episode

with the update from Scott Roder will be coming out shortly as well.

With that being said, let's get down to this day in history.

So on this day in 1998, Randy Mabrewer was taken from her home while her three-year-old son slept in his room.

Law enforcement discovered blood throughout the house, but her body was never found.

Mabrewer is believed to be the second victim of Derek Todd Lee.

And unfortunately, everyone around here knows the name Derek Todd Lee way too much because he is a local serial killer and he was in Baton Rouge. But he lived in

St. Francisville and he actually, my mom used to own an import store here in Clinton and he actually

worked for her, which is at the time that he

was a serial killer. So it was very eerie to think about, and I just remember that period in time

so well and how on alert everybody was,

except I just remember being at home and comfortable,

like in my mom's store,

not even realizing that I was working next to a serial killer.

But Lee is believed to be the culprit behind five other murders,

and Lee was on death row after receiving a first-degree murder conviction
