Welcome to the Sheerlux Highlights Podcast with me, Charlotte Collins. This week I'm joined by Lou Haft, Rosie Charington and Georgina Blaskey. Hi everyone. Hi. Happy Monday. How amazing is this weather, first of all? Absolutely incredible. And I think it was like here to stay for a while. It isn't, I don't remember ever such a sustained period of glorious weather. It's like the perfect summer already.

Yes, only still June. It might mean we have a dreadful July and August though.

Don't say that. You're going to jinx it now. Sorry, Todd Lord of Diction. Okay, moving on,

what has everybody been up to this weekend? I watched the fund. As anyone see, there's a new

series on Netflix, which is about the Vogue Fashion Fund as part of the CFDA Awards.

It's actually from the 2014 edition, but it's really interesting. I think there's six parts to it, and I'm three episodes in.

So it goes through the whole process of them selecting the different designers that are going to be shortlisted, then go through the shortlist process,

and then there's 10 designers that then they have like a board who then they go and do studio visits for,

they have design tasks, the one I watched last night they had to design something for Uniclobe

that was sort of in keeping with their own brand vision and then obviously the Uniclobe guide.

And it's really interesting, like Anna Winter was obviously heading it up, then Jenna Lyons,

the founder of Theory, the two founders of Red and Bone, and some amazing designers have come from

it.

It's like Berns at Schuller, at Alexander Wang.

And it's really interesting, I think, to see how Anna Winter has an effect on everyone. Like she walks into the room and it's like rippled. It's amazing. It's like that bit in the Devil Words Prada where Miranda Priesey can determine how successful the collection will be just from like a blink or a smile or whatever. Yeah and it's genuinely true about her and she goes into their studio and she's just like silently like going through the right. Oh my God, the nerves, the nerves. And then she'll pick up one thing and she'll like,
