0:37.6	You came on and talked about it and I was like, oh my god, I have to get this book.
0:41.8	I read it in like a couple days, maybe even yeah, like two days and I bought it for
0:48.2	literally like my whole family. Like everyone I know basically and I was like, you have to get this
0:52.0	book. Can you tell people like for people who haven't read the book like what it's kind of about
0:56.8	in a nutshell and then like what prompted you to write about it?
1:00.3	Yeah, because it wasn't obvious that I would write a book like that.
1:04.1	The book I had written before was called Deep Work and it was about the world of business.
1:09.4	I mean, it was about okay, we had these unintentional consequences of new technologies in the
1:14.9	business space. So things like email had these unintentional consequences were more distracted.
1:19.5	It's hard to get work done. So it was a very tech and culture of a business focused book.
1:23.9	And digital minimalism is a big departure. I mean, it's about your life outside of work.
1:28.4	It's not about the world of business. What happened was it was the readers of Deep Work
1:35.0	started giving me this feedback when I would see the amount of events or I would be at a book
