As ex-founders, how many times we say a great business, but we just can't invest in it,

and it's a little disheartening this game.

But as well as being a lesson for founders, this is a lesson for LPs and investors when choosing funds to invest in.

Those who do not pass this keeper test, i.e. their manager would not fight for them,

are promptly and respectfully given a generous severance package

so they can find someone for that position that makes an even better dream team.
