Speaking of starts, President Trump is about 100 days into his second term.

And so, of course, now is the time most folks like to start assigning grades.

However, I am not most folks. A presidential term lasts about

slightly less than 1,500 days. I'm not great with math, which you know by now, but that would mean

we are 1 15th of the way through his four-year term.

Even if you were to argue, history says President Trump will have two years before the American people opt for divided government again.

That means he has 730 days.

And let me flash my math skills again. We are just one-seventh of the way into it.

No matter how you count or do the math, it is tantamount to being in the first week of class

if you were in college or high school. The first week of class, think about that. By this time, assuming you

accept my scholastic analogy, Dr. Kevin Gilliland, with whom I took most of my college classes,

and I, we had not even attended class yet. He's a frequent guest on this podcast and our television show. He's a

clinical psychologist. God only knows how that happened. Sometimes I lay awake at night and my wife

will say, are you still wondering how Kevin got into a doctorate program in psychology? And I will say,

I'm wondering how he got in and how we got

out. Both. Both of them are keeping me up at night. But I digress. Back when we were in college

together, we had not even purchased the books yet. We didn't know which building class was held in.
