All right, so as you know, the cowboys now have quarterback tray Lance Clarence

Hill Jr. of the four or star telegram tweeted this yesterday for those who made a big deal

about the cowboys not informing Mike McCarthy before making the tray for Lance Clarence.

I love you, but that is a big deal. McCarthy has no problem with it. I was involved in the

evaluation and the actual business component of it. I am not involved. Those decisions come

down to Jerry and Stephen Jones. Okay, fine. But one of them said on Saturday night that

McCarthy wasn't told that they were doing this. And Dak wasn't told that they were doing it.

And I wrote about this yesterday. We talked about it yesterday. We played the Jerry Jones clip.

It's obvious to me that this is some sort of clumsy awkward protection against Dak telling

the only way you're reducing my 55 million or 59 million dollar cap charge in 2024 is to make

me the highest paid player in football. Even if he's not the best player in football right now,

he's got the leverage to do it. They need a plan B. It's that simple. So McCarthy has no problem

with it because what's he going to do? What's he going to do? Is he going to invent right? Is he

going to is he going to start knocking over tables and throwing books for the media about how

Maddy is with the guy who signs his check and who has the power to fire him? Of course not. If he's

mad about it, he's going to keep it in house. That's a responsible thing to do. He's not going to

tell us he's mad about it. So let's not be naive people. Just because he says he's okay with it,

doesn't mean he's okay with it. I don't know that I would really be okay with somebody taking away

my third string quarterback that I worked with all off season, you know, and that the quarterback's

room likes, right? In theory of just importing this guy who did not work out as a number three

overall pick for another team. And now we've got to kind of train him and maybe build him up into

something when okay, I mean, like I guess that's something we can do, but it's not like there are
