The Oh, Welcome back everyone to one thousand one classic short stories and tales. This is your host John Hagadorn. It's been a while since we've done an O'Henry story and I have a great one for you here today.

Transients in Arcadia. A little background. O'Henry was always a lover of classic literature and while pursuing his many ventures, O'Henry had begun writing as a hobby.

When he lost his banking position, he moved to Houston in 1895 and started writing for the post

was probably about 300 a year well Henry collected ideas for his column by loitering in hotel lobbies and observing and talking
