Well let's jump in and I'm really curious of all the things you could write on why did you choose to do doctoral work on the issue of transgender sports policy?

Yes, so in 2014, uh, collectively we reached a transgender tipping point.

That was actually the cover of a Time magazine cover.

And around that same time, there was the adoption of the international
