Hello and welcome back to 1874. It's time for another transfer talk live where I look for

questions from the audience that have joined me live and talk about the prevalent transfer news

that's been in the Aston Villa stratosphere over the last 24 to 48 hours. I am your host,

Dan Bardell, and I'll be live for the next half an hour or so

looking to have that chat that I just alluded to. Now, these, obviously, I never know how

these are going to go. I've said about doing a couple of weeks. I've already done one this week,

so I thought Sunday when I'm at a loose end waiting for my roast dinner. I thought I'd hop on and have a chat with people.

Now, as I'm aware, it's a Sunday, it's coming up to dinner. So there might not be too many

people around, but I thought we'll just come on and have a look and see what is happening.

Anyway, so six people have joined me at early doors. Let's see if anyone's got any questions in the

live chat. Nick Salter, hello, Nicker says, interesting rumours for day one.

I'm not really sure what day one is. It sounds like an episode of The Last of Us, but obviously,

obviously there has been a couple of things going on today in terms of news, Villa, Saudi Arabia.

Again, I did obviously do a show maybe three weeks ago where I said is Saudi Arabia basically

bad news for Aston Villa and I've said a few people recently say that actually it could be a godsend.

Inevitably at least one Villa play is going to be going to Saudi Arabia this summer.

It's looking like it might be Leon Bailey.

I think it wasn't a very well-kept secret over the last month to six weeks of the season that Leon Bailey would be departing Aston Villa and that Saudi Arabia would be his destination.

And I've spoke previously about what Saudi are trying to do in terms of getting players who

are at kind of peak age rather than players in their 30s into their league.

That's their latest transfer wave.
