Okay, my life. Hi, this is William Ramsey. Welcome to William Ramsey Investigates on today's show of a very special guest. His name is Andrew Loney, and he has published a book in the UK, August 2021.

Title of the book is Traitor King, The Scandalous Exile of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, an excellent book, very well received book, which is also going to be

released in the US in May 2022. It's a daily book, daily mail book of the year. And this is not his only

book. He's just published back in 2019, another bestseller titled The Mountbatten's, The Lives and

Lows of Dickie and Edwina Mountbatten,

which is just published in the U.S. at September 7th, 2021.

So you can find that on Amazon.

But Mr. Loney was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge,

where he was president of the Union and Dunster History Prizeman,

before studying at obtaining a master's of

American espionage and being awarded his doctorate at Edinburgh University. He's also studied in

Asheville, North Carolina. He's a fellow of the Royal Historical Society and has been a visiting

fellow at Churchill College, Cambridge, and Senior Research

Fellow in Modern British History at the University of Buckingham.

He's also the president of the Biographers Club on the Advisory Committee of Biographers International

Organization and was also part of a six-man team which advised on the setting up of the spy museum in Washington, D.C.

And his other earlier books are one on Guy Burgess titled Stalin's Englishman, Guy Burgess,

The Cold War and the Cambridge Spy Ring published 2016 in the U.S.

He also has another book titled The Edinburgh Literary Companion and John

Butchen the Presbyterian Cavalier published at least in the US 2002. So Andrew Launy, are you there?
