Ultra running magazine, my favorite magazine that I get once a month.

You know, they wrap it in plastic because just in case the weather is a little bit sketchy,

the pages are preserved.

You said you get ultra running magazine, why do you open the cover up?

I open it to see if my name is in it.

And that is cool, right?

If you've completed some races, you might find your own name in that magazine.

I remember the first time I saw my name in the magazine, I thought I was big time.

I remember that day.

Do you still have that?

I do.

Excellent.

It is kind of cool to go ahead and open up something published and see the, you know,

the leaders in the sport, but then also, you know, some of us.

And one of the things that they've been doing along with that since the very beginning

is that they will have somebody write up race reports.

And it's always fun for me, if I've completed an race or completed a race to go and read

that right up to see how accurate it was.

Yeah, yeah, to see if you're experienced on that same race, they're the same as the

person that's writing.

And it's not always the front runner or the mid pack or the person in the back.
