It's a Tuesday edition of PFT Live and we come on the air this morning as details are still

emerging regarding a shooting that happened last night at 345 Park Avenue,

which is the NFL headquarters, along with other businesses.

It was mayhem as a gunman walked into the lobby and ultimately killed four,

including an off-duty NYPD police officer.

The gunman killed himself on the 33rd floor. And as the images came in,

I saw the building and I knew right away. It was 345 Park Avenue. I knew right away. Chris,

I'm sure you had the same thing. We've been there multiple times. Oddly, oddly enough,

I had a brother-in-law who works right by there and I knew about this going on. I'm going to say about 30 to 40 minutes before it hit the media airways, right? So that was like my first shock moment. Like, what? You know, my brother-in-law, hey, you're not in New York. You're not in the 345 park today. And I was like, no, I'm at home in Connecticut. And then he's like, there's a gunman on

the loose. And that's how I found out about it. And then saw it on the news about 20, 25 minutes later,

my crazy. But yeah, I knew it right away too. And the initial reports were referring to the structures,

the Blackstone building. And it's like, no, that's the NFL building in our mind, but there's

other businesses in there as well. And apparently it is known as the Blackstone building. But the

NFL, the predominant presence as far as anyone who cares about football is concerned. And one of

the details that has been learned already, and this comes from CNN, that the suspect, the 27-year-old man from

Las Vegas, drove from Vegas all the way to New York. He had grievances against the NFL

related to chronic traumatic encephalopathy. He claims that he suffers from it due to playing

youth football, and there were papers on him to that effect and he was targeting the NFL.
