Hey everyone, it's Robby here with RobD. We were shocked by the data in this week's

0:07.4

episode. This isn't information that's slightly out the norm. It's stuff that pretty much

0:12.7

everyone should be talking about in property, but nobody is. The information in this week's

0:16.8

episode is incredible. Welcome to the property podcast. This is a part of the week, but we

0:27.6

take some time out from advising a multi-million pound property fund and put in together hundreds

0:31.8

of transactions for our clients every year and bring you a little bit of what we've learned

0:35.3

along the way for free. And like Rob said, we are astonished by what we're going to

0:40.0

tell you today, even though we're immersed in this industry all day, every day. What we're

0:44.4

about to tell you gave us a whole new perspective on things, and so for sure it will for you

0:48.8

as well. And do make sure you stick around to the end, because in hub extra, Robby's

0:52.5

going to share a way that you can be inspired by one of the best in the world.

What's the time for our new story of the week? And we have more data for you at a data-driven

1:01.3

episode this week. And this week's data is about the current state of house prices. Rob

1:06.2

nationwide, they have an update for us. Where is the market at right now? Well, it's flat

1:11.8

again, according to nationwide headline house prices are relatively stable in June. So

1:17.3

in May, they were down 0.1% in June up 0.1%. Now June is normally one of the stronger months

1:24.8

of the year. So flat may not be as strong as it first appears, but there's loads of really

1:29.4

interesting data in the nationwide release. Lots to dig into here. Lots about house prices

1:33.9

in general. Plenty to say about mortgages and a whole bunch of other stuff going on as

1:38.1

well at the moment. So it's a good thing that our monthly market update episode is coming

1:41.7

up next week, because that'll give us a chance to go into the detail of all of it. So

1:45.6

do make sure you join us for next Thursday's episode. And do make sure you check out our exciting
