Summary

On paper, Joe Ciaglia's life sounds like a mob movie where the mobster, Joe, is bagging groceries at a store conveniently located across from the track. He meets a couple older gentlemen who introduce him to the inside world of the track. While learning the underbelly of the horse game, Joey starts winning city contracts for skate parks. It’s an interesting rag to riches story that includes professional skateboarders (Rob Dyrdek), race horses, accusations of collusion and no mob ties that I know of.

0:10.5	Welcome to another episode of the Powell Movement. I am your host, Mike Powell, and I will say that it's been a crazy couple days in my life, and I'm going to share what's been going on with you.
0:21.7	It has to do with a hit and run with my car.
0:24.5	On St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, we had a drunk driver.
0:27.7	I'm going to assume he was drunk.
0:29.2	He took a turn, went by my house, decided to smash into my car, did about $4,000 with
0:33.7	a damage, had all that damage fixed, got the car back about two weeks ago, was psyched, had it
0:38.8	parked in front of the house. Sometimes they park it on the street, sometimes they park it in the
0:42.1	driveway. The other night it was parked on the street and another hit and run happened. My car got
0:47.9	destroyed, probably another $4,000 worth of damage. And the guy left his Land Rover bumper in the
0:54.1	middle of the road. So I was able to
0:56.0	come up and grab his bumper later on that evening after I found the car was destroyed, called the
1:00.9	cops. Cops came and were excited about the piece of evidence. And that's where my wife steps in.
1:06.3	She then took pictures of the bumper that we found, put them up on the West Seattle blog, made sure it was on all the blogs around here that all the moms are on.
1:14.2	And we had about 60 comments right away.
1:16.8	People were definitely engaged within the community.
1:19.4	And people were out there looking to find this Land Rover to help us to avoid paying another deductible, which was awesome.
1:25.8	And yesterday afternoon, we got a tip. One of the neighbors
1:28.3	saw this Land Rover on the side of the road with damage to the car. They walked by our house,
1:33.4	came knocked on the door, and let us know the address of where this vehicle was parked. We went,
1:37.6	took some pictures, noticed that our paint was on their car. The piece of the bumper that we have
1:42.0	is a piece of the bumper that is missing on the vehicle. The turn signal housing that was broken is the turn signal housing that we have at our
