Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you got your Bibles, then I hope you do. Go ahead and go to First Samuel, Chapter 1. It's in the Old Testament. You'll find your way there. It's going to be a little bit before I get there, but I promise you I'm going to get there. So First Samuel chapter 1. Now, we're turning the corner in the series. And in case you're wondering today, is it intimidating to be a man standing on stage talking about womanhood, the answer is, yes, emphatically.

It is a terrifying thing.

The good news is we got one service under our belts, and so here we are.

You see at a young age at some point along the way, we grow into becoming men, and we realize

we need to be careful in the presence of women, And specifically, we need to be careful with our words,

which is what makes this such a terrifying proposition,

what I'm going to attempt to do today.

Some learn it sooner than others.

Like my 12-year-old son, Bo, has not learned it yet.

Just the other day, he's in the car with my wife and my older son Silas a 16-year-old. And Bo asks a valid question. He says, hey, what am I going to take notes on in church for the next few weeks if we're going to be talking about womanhood? To which my 16-year-old, wise, perceptive son Silas said, well, Bo, aren't you going to want to take notes about what kind of a woman you want to marry one day?

That's a good answer. My wife then interjected and said this. She said, and Bo, what is the number one thing that you're looking for in a woman to marry one day? Now, time out, okay?

Had I been there, I could have predicted how this was going to go off the rails, but I was not there, okay? Because here's the thing. My wife has

emphatically driven into the hearts and minds of all of our boys, and I've come alongside her

in this and saying, listen, the number one thing you're looking for, above anything and everything

else is you want to find a woman who loves Jesus. That's the right answer, okay? That is not the

answer Beau gave. Okay? In this moment, Bo, because he has the gift of sarcasm, he said, I'm looking

for a good cook. And the reason I tell you that today is I need you to know why I went from having

four children to three children. Bo is no longer with us. His mother took him out. No, in all

seriousness, we began this little adventure that we've been on and are going to continue to be on

for the next several weeks of manhood, womanhood, and marriage. And we turned the corner into womanhood today. And you may remember when we kicked off the manhood series, I had to do a bunch of research on Ken dolls. And I presented that to you. And I thought, like, I've never had to do research on Ken dolls before, and this is terrible. And well, now I've done a little bit of research on Barbie dolls. And this will be some stuff that some of you already knew but man Barbie is a cultural icon you you knew that and for however many roles and job descriptions

you feel like Ken had I think I reported to you he had like 44 different jobs up to this point

in history Barbie's had a hundred and nineteen she has done a lot different jobs. And some of them are really humorous.
