My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are here,

that you see me, that you hear me.

I ask your pardon for my sins and the grace to make this time of prayer fruitful.

On this great feast day of Saint Jose Maria,

we want to call upon Him, we call upon our Lord

with a desire to contemplate the action of God

and the soul of this faithful servant

in order to appreciate the newness of Opus Day.

We will take advantage of a very beautiful article

that appears on the website of Opus Day called Something Great

that is Love. That title is a title of a series of installments and the one we will consider

at length is the sixth installment.

We know so well that our Lord in the Gospel compares the kingdom of God to a grain of mustard seed,

which when sown in the ground

is the smallest of all the seeds on earth.

Yet when it grows up, it becomes the greatest of all shrubs

and puts forth large branches

so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade.
