Summary

Here from the vault, we bring you the thoughts of Michael Cox, Daniel Storey and Matt Davies-Adams on the 1992/93 season - the dawn of the Premier League. A whole new ball game as Sky Sports called it.

Man United ended their 26 year wait for the title, in a campaign transformed by Cantona. Could English football have taken a different tactical trajectory if high-flying Norwich had won the Premier League?

Elsewhere, there was Oldham's incredible escape, Brian Clough's demise and big-name clubs being completely bamboozled by the new back pass rule.
