You have taught me so much about nutrition as like as a girl who grew up in you know the

early 2000s where it just seemed like the only way to get results is to do the diet culture stuff,

yet nobody gets results and it's complete yo-yo dieting forever,

but that's like the hamster wheel that we're on. And so you have taught me like, no, you don't have to starve yourself, you should not be starving yourself.

When we were working together postpartum, I'm so glad I had you because I felt so guilty about, hi Craig, I felt so guilty about eating so many calories.

I was like astounded how many calories I was eating.

Some days I was getting up to like 3,000 and the guilt you feel from that because of what we've been wired to think

around diet culture. You were like, no, your body needs this nutrition. If you're're hungry you should be eating and give yourself

You were so active still you know everyone's so different there too, but you're breastfeeding and you were walking like, I'm trying to remember, I think it was just maybe the weather that was your release stress-wise and so you were walking like 15,000 to 20,000 steps a day. And so you could handle like almost 3,000 calories a day

just fine and needed it too.

And you gave me the confidence to not feel guilty about that like and now you have me eating

probably it's like 500 600 more calories than I was eating before pregnancy and I thought I always had to be in a deficit.

I was like, oh, I have to be in a deficit. Like I can still gain muscle if I'm eating enough protein but I have to be in a deficit and so I thought I was doing everything right I wasn't gaining muscle where I wanted to I wasn't seeing the result I wanted to, and you're like, okay, let's reframe.

You need more food.

You need to make sure you're getting adequate calories and knowing that I had you to trust through this process, it has helped so much.
