I'm your host Justin Boone, the lead fantasy analyst at the score. Thanks for hanging out with us today. You got another week of NFL action behind us. Just one game to go for week five. That's the Monday nighter between the Saints and the Chiefs. But we got our usual business to handle here, and that's going over injuries from all the games on the weekend. And talking about who might be on the waiverware that you can pick up before week six so let's get our hands dirty with that starting with the injuries josh allen a

0:43.1

really tough loss for my bills some very bizarre play calling and decision making at the end of that game

0:48.8

i would have been playing for overtime when i was inside my own 10 yard line with like 30 seconds left

0:53.9

but we're not going to debate that we're here to mention that Allen probably shouldn't have even been in the game at that point. He took a couple really big hits in this one. One of them, it appeared like his head bounced off the turf. It almost kind of looked like he was knocked out on that play. He eventually walked off under his own power power Mitch Trubisky came in for a play

1:11.7

and then Alan was right back out there almost immediately so you figure that he's okay he cleared

1:17.3

concussion protocol obviously I don't think there's any worries but it's always possible that he

1:22.5

could still have symptoms that we might find out he is actually in the protocol in the next day or two

1:27.0

and even if that is the case he could still clear in time to suit up in week six because the bills play Monday night against the Jets. So he's got an extra day to get cleared. But fingers crossed that he's fine, that he doesn't even need to be cleared because he's not in the concussion protocol as of this recording right now. And if he doesn't miss any practice he's going to be back

1:44.6

out there full strength for monday night football aaron rogers he was playing in the london game

1:49.5

now this is kind of a weird one so he went down in the second half he got kind of bent between

1:54.2

two defenders he was grabbing the back of his leg on the ground it looked like he was in pain it

1:58.5

looked like he was really hurt eventually he limped off with the trainers, and it was fourth down. So the Jets had to punt the ball away, but there was a penalty on that play, and that gave the Jets a first down. And then immediately, Rogers came right back in the game. He didn't go to the medical tent, which is where he was headed to originally. So then after the game, he admitted it was a low ankle sprain he was dealing with. My guess is that he's headed to originally so then after the game he admitted it was a low

2:18.0

ankle sprain he was dealing with my guess is that he's gonna continue to play

2:21.6

through it like he did on Sunday but it is worth watching let's see the practice

2:25.5

reports let's just make sure that he's okay before we lock him in for week six on

the other side of the field in that London game Sam Darnel he took a took a really big hit. He stayed down for a while. He briefly left, but then he returned pretty quick. So no concerns there. Just mentioning it because he seemed to get a little banged up in that one. I don't expect that he's going to miss any time, though. And then Baker Mayfield, he's the other quarterback injury to note here. He got his leg twisted up on a third down stop in the red zone. It looked pretty painful, but he came back in. He was fine. He was running around. He was good to go. So don't expect him to miss any time either. For running backs, Devon A. Chan, he took a really big impact to the helmet. He ended up in concussion protocol. Mike McDaniel confirmed today. Yes, he is in the protocol, but the

dolphins are on by in week six. So he's going to have two weeks to get cleared. I assume that he's going to be back for week seven, though if any franchise is going to be extra cautious with concussions, we figure it's probably going to be Miami. Aaron Jones, he left with a hip injury, and eventually he got ruled out, but like A-chan, Jones has a buying week six. So he's going to get two weeks to heal up. It's a hip. It's possible he could miss more time. I mean, it's still worth grabbing Ty Chandler just in case, but I'm not expecting that this is going to be a long-term absence for Jones. Chandler, though, he should be rostered in every league. He should have been rostered even before this Jones injury. I think he would be the clear starter in one of the better offenses in the league if Jones ever misses time. So I talked about him as a potential sleeper before the season. I still think you should be rostering him in almost every format. Zach Moss on the Bengals, another guy who got his leg twisted up under a defender.

3:59.9

Feels like that happened a bunch this weekend.

4:01.8

But Moss grabbed his lower leg after the play, and he left the game, did try to come back,

4:06.8

but then he left for good, and they called it an ankle injury.

4:10.0

And this makes me worried that we're dealing with another Joe Mixen or Jonathan Taylor kind of situation.
