I'm your host, Justin Boone, the lead fantasy analyst at the score.

Great to have you hanging out with us today as we get you caught up on all the injuries from week 15. And then as we go over the waiver wire players who are going to help you win in week 16 and maybe even help you win in the fantasy championship if you make it there. But let's start with the injuries first here. And at quarterback, we saw a bunch of big names get hurt this week. Patrick Mahomes, he suffered a high ankle sprain.

They're saying it's a mild high ankle sprain.

I don't know why teams qualify it like that, but they're calling them week to week right now.

That puts him in serious risk of potentially missing week 16 because the chiefs are playing on a short week.

They're hosting the Texans on Saturday.

And they're scheduled to play the Ravens on Christmas Day after that.

So that's playing Saturday and playing the Wednesday right after.

I think Mahomes could potentially miss both those contests.

I think he's at least going to miss this one coming up here.

It's two really tough opponents as well. And then you got the Bills just two games back of the Chiefs. And Buffalo has the Patriots twice and the Jets. Those are the three teams they have left to play. Those look like three easy wins. It's not out of the question here that the Bills could potentially get back into it and steal the number one seed since they own the tiebreaker after beating the chiefs regardless here i'm just thinking through all of that because i'm a bills fan

uh for fantasy here going back to the fantasy implications it's going to be a downgrade for all the

chiefs players the running backs have hard matchups in those two games so they were already going to be

hurt carson wents is a decent backup option in real life but he's not somebody you're going to use for fantasy unless you're in two quarterback or super flex leagues. Travis Kelsey is going to stay a must play tight end one. There's no doubt about that. But the Andre Hopkins, Xavier worthy, they're going to become really risky wide receiver three, wide receiver four flex types types they were already kind of pushing down into

that range so not great news for the chiefs here and for fantasy managers who are counting on chiefs

players in the fantasy playoffs now bills fans you also had a bit of an injury scare and i think you

would know this if you're falling the bills closely like i am josh allen had to go for an x-ray

after the game he said that it was just a precautionary thing.

It doesn't seem like anything came out of it. Sean McDermott today said that he's fine, but apparently fell on his shoulder. It felt a little odd after the game, according to Alan. And he said he was able to throw without pain. He said it doesn't seem like a big concern. So it's still something that we'll monitor, but I expect that Alan's going to be out there in week 16 and continuing to do this Superman routine he's been doing recently, which has been fantastic. Let's continue that all the way to February. Jalen Hertz, he's also dealing with something. And he played 100% of the snaps in this game. So don't let me alarm you by mentioning his name here. But he let everybody know he's dealing with a broken finger in his non-throwing hand and not the kind of thing that's going to impact him really, you know, slight uptick in the chance that he might fumble in a game, but otherwise he's going to be out there this week. He'll be able to play like you did on Sunday through that injury. Kyler Murray, he got crushed between two defenders. It looked really bad at first, but he was back out there pretty quickly, not worried about him moving forward. Justin Herbert, this is one that we might actually have to watch because there's a chance that he aggravated his ankle injury here. He did play through it and he basically played the whole game, but this is something that he's been dealing with for a little while now the chargers are playing on Thursday night against the Broncos so very short week for

him something to pay attention to over the next couple days because if Herbert can't

go then it's going to be tough to really justify playing almost any charger against
