| 0:00.0 | Welcome everyone to the score fantasy football podcast. I'm your host Justin Boone, the lead fantasy analyst at the score. |
| 1:11.2 | Thank you so much for joining me today to start the week. Another crazy slate on Sunday we just got through. I mean, we could really go back to Thursday if we wanted to. That game, Jamar Chase, Joe Burrow, putting up huge numbers, still losing. I mean, what are the chances of that? Or last night, Jared Goff, five interceptions, the Lions still somehow find a way to win that game. Just insane results. That makes my job pretty challenging at times because there's no way that you're going to project those kind of outcomes. I had Chase as the number one receiver overall for week 10. I didn't have them down for 50 plus fantasy points on a short week. You get what I'm saying, though. Regardless, we got to get to our usual Monday content, and that means going over the injuries from week 10 and then turning our attention to the top waiver ads for week 11 and who might be able to help you make that push to the playoffs. And for the injuries, it was also a weird week. We had lots of guys leaving games, getting banged up. Many of them return, |
| 1:30.5 | though, which is good news. So let's start with Aaron Rogers. He got hurt on a play where he fumbled. He turned the ball over, got checked for a concussion. He was cleared. He was right back in the game. But overall, a tough outing for the Jets. And the schedule still pretty easy from here on out, I just hope we see Rogers stay on the field and keep playing, even though the team's quickly falling out of the playoff hunt. |
| 1:32.6 | I mean, just a 13% chance of making the playoffs now, according to NFL.com. |
| 1:36.6 | And if they end up out of it, is Rogers, who turns 41 in December. |
| 1:41.1 | Is he going to end up sitting out some games at some point? |
| 1:44.1 | I think that's a possibility. That would certainly hurt this offense fantasy wise. Though Tyrod Taylor, I mean, he's a pretty good backup. I'm just speculating here too. Rogers is fine for now. There's no worries there. We can keep moving. That's it for injuries for quarterback. So we can go to running backs next. We had Sequin Barclay leave with what appeared to be a wrist injury he got it taped up he returned to the game i don't think this is going to be a problem moving forward we're going to keep an eye on it though we'll see what his practice participations like this week kenneth gainwell he would be the next man up if barclay were ever hurt and they also have the rookie will shippley backing him up aaron jones he went the medical tent. He eventually got carted to the locker room. They said it was a chest injury at first. Later, they clarified that it was ribs. He got tested. He got x-rays back there. Everything came back negative. And he reemerged. He was back on the field and he returned to the game. And sometimes the rib injuries, it's just a pain tolerance thing. So maybe they shot him up with something. We don't know. Either way, I don't expect him to miss much time because of it. And neither does Kevin O'Connell's head coach. He said today that Jones might miss some practice, but that he expects to have him for week 11. If Jones did ever sit out at some point I just want to remind you I said |
| 2:50.9 | this last week but cam Acres he has taken over as the number two back in the |
| 2:55.6 | Vikings backfield so he would be the lead guy would tie Chandler playing that |
| 2:59.8 | complimentary role Naji Harris he left he also came back he looked like he was |
| 3:04.7 | really hurt at first too it was his ankle that got stuck under some defenders. But the fact that he came back, that was positive. Makes me think he's going to be okay for week 11. We'll monitor that one just in case it got worse after the game or case it swells up over the next 24 hours or something. But if he were out, Jalen Warren would get the start, Corridor Patterson would be the change of pace guy for the Steelers. |
| 3:24.9 | More running backs here, guys who left but return to their game. We keep going. Kareem Hunt, he walked pretty slowly to the sidelines, was kind of limping at one point, but he played through whatever it was, and he just keeps producing for fantasy. You just got to wonder, though, is the clock ticking here on Hunt's fantasy relevance? because Isaiah Pacheco, he might be back in the next few weeks. |
| 3:43.9 | It's just something to consider if |
| 3:45.1 | you're relying on hunt you got to prepare for that moment when pacheco resumes that starting job |
| 3:49.6 | which unfortunately or fortunately depending who you're rostering that could happen here |
| 3:54.3 | pretty quickly and before the fantasy playoffs chuba hubbard he's next's next and you guessed it. He left and then he returned. He went down hard. He grabbed the back of his leg. It was on a fumble. But then he returned to the game the next drive and he had a monster day versus the Giants. He also had some weird comments after the game about how his knee just dislocates sometimes. I'm not really sure what he meant by that. He doesn't seem bothered by this, though, and the Panthers are going on by. So he should be back for week 12. Dave Canales also said that he's good to go, that he's going to be fine. Now, his backup, Miles Sanders, he might not be. Sanders had the cart come out for him. He suffered a foot injury in this game. Not not sure how much time he might miss but canal said that he's going to see a |
| 4:34.0 | specialist for it and Jonathan Brooks he was held out of this game despite the fact |
| 4:37.8 | that he had full practices all week my guess is that Brooks is going to be backing up |
| 4:41.8 | Hubbard moving forward that might have happened anyway even without Sanders |
| 4:45.3 | getting hurt but that's the way it looks now for that panthers backfield and then the other running back who got hurt |
| 4:50.6 | was tank bigsby on the jaggs he left with an ankle injury he did return |
| 4:54.7 | briefly but he wasn't really much of a factor from that point on Travis Etienne he |
