prospect he would be number one we get that let's wait for him to sign he might have

already signed by the time you're listening to this number one is Paul Skeen's of the pirates, the first overall pick in this year's draft.

Big dude, six foot six, huge fastball, has a slider and a change-up, has the three-pitch mix, he can command his pitches.

The one I guess maybe potential worry here, Welsh,

is that he took on huge workloads at LSU.

Is that something that concerns you?

Yeah, I mean, I think it's always concerning

any time I got, I mean, people from major league levels were concerned like why are we using him

this much in college like you don't want those bullets wasted I would tell you if

Paul schemes went to a team that was in any type of competition just

whoever braves would have been like that I think he would have been one of those guys one of the few I think

Mark Pryor did this that you just skip I could have legitimately seen him skip all of minor leagues to come up to the majors I think that's where the usage is

His crutch people point at and why you wouldn't skip is there's a shape of a fastball type of an issue which is

going to become more about just the center point of how hitters are going to see

it. It comes at at 102 but the shape argument is that people are going to still have

a pretty good beat on it.

He does have a good slider, great slider, and he had a developing change up he was using in college,

which I think could be a plus pitch. I think those are things that are going to help with a fastball shape issue.
