I know someone's out there. Hey there, listeners, welcome to horror movie club, the show where two dudes who are not quite

nerds, but not quite nobs, choose a horror movie each week to rate and review, and today

we are doing something a little bit different in celebration of our three-year

anniversary. We're counting down each of our own personal top five opening scenes in horror movies.

We'll probably tack some honorable mentions onto the end of the list so that we'll get at

least 10 movies between the two of us, hopefully more than 10. Otherwise, that means we have the exact same list.

And after we do that, we're going to do an Ask Us Anything session where we answer some of the

questions that y'all asked us on Facebook, Twitter, and Discord.

Big thanks to the Discord folks, because that's where most of these questions came from.

This might end up being a pretty long episode, so depending on how it goes, there's a chance

we might break it up into two episodes, but we'll see how things go.

Really, after the first few episodes, it was kind of like, shit, we're buckled in.

Yeah, I know. Yeah, yeah. I feel like I've only stuck around because of your commitment,

which has been amazing since the beginning. I think, I don't know, part of me, I've been worried about saying this beforehand,

but I kind of assumed we do this for like six months and then kind of fizzle out and go do our own thing again.

So I'm surprised we're here.
