Jeremiah Love, he can beat you through the year, he can beat you on the ground, he's going to get after you and pass protection.

He can hit the big play and he can also turn out the tough yardage.

He is a five tool player in every possible way.

Hello and welcome. It is always college football.

Today is Cinco de Mayo, the 5th of May,

and we appreciate very much those of you that are coming to us from wherever it is you're coming

to us from. We are here in the month of May. Things are slowing down on the transfer portal

grind. Things are starting to pick up with the excitement and looking ahead to what's coming here in media days,

five, six weeks from now and then ultimately in fall camp.

But right now, what we've done the last couple of years, we've really used May as an opportunity

to rank some of our favorite players coming back in college football.

If you missed last week's episode, we ranked our top 10 quarterbacks in college football.

We had some honorable mentions on there as well.

We will do the same today with the running back position.

And this was a little bit more difficult, if I'm being completely honest.

Back in the day in the 1980s, 90ss and early 2000s, it was pretty easy to tell

you exactly who we thought would be the top 10, top 15, top 20 running backs in the sport.

But that's become more and more difficult because it's no longer as much about yards, but it's

about opportunities. So many guys, if you look at what they could do,

if they were thrust into a bell cow situation, how would they fare?

Several of the teams that we talk about today and the players we talk about today,

they're a part of a tandem in the back field.
