So the premise of this series is just this.

There are things in the line. to you. It's three things you can't afford to miss and how to ensure that you won't. So the premise

of this series is just this. There are things in life that are too good to miss, and we're going to talk about some specific ones. I don't want you to miss. But the truth is, all of us sometimes miss out on the things in life that are consequential, and then we can't go back and unmissed them. So I just don't want for this point forward for you to miss out on the things that are super, super important.

And so I've chosen three that I think ultimately as we move toward the end of our lives, we will look back and think, oh, why in the world did I miss that? So in part one, we opened the series by focusing on the second part of the subtitle, which is how to ensure that you won't.

That is how to ensure that you don't miss out on the things that you're going to wish you hadn't missed out on.

And so I made the case that we miss out in life, we miss out in life when three things are true, when we're deceived or were misled.

And sometimes we mislead ourselves, sometimes we're misled by others and we miss

out on important things in life or when we're distracted and we get so enamored with the immediate

that we don't think about the ultimate and then time goes by and we look back and think oh no

I had one chance to get that right I had one opportunity to get that right. I had one season of my life

to invest in that part of my life and I missed it. And I just don't want you to miss it. And then

third one, we kind of went old school and said when we're disobedient. And the point of this one

was simply this. If you're not a Christian or you're from a different faith tradition,

I made the point. We make this point all the time.

That in the season of life where you created your greatest regret,

it doesn't take long for you to go there,
