I can't believe how many years it's been since I've seen you, but that's a whole other thing.

Yeah, I know. It's really a lifetime ago, right?

I think we're going to start with a question. How did you get to where you are today?

When you were a kid, did you know right away you wanted to create images or did you go down

another path? Tell us your story. Okay. Well, I guess like many cinematographers, I was always the

kid with the camera, you know, just shooting everything I could think of. And you know, I was like

the photographer for the high school yearbook. So I was shooting stills of wrestling matches and

football games and the cheerleading squad and all that stuff. And then when I went on to college,

I was a theater arts major and not because I wanted to be an actor or direct theater, but really

because I was interested in stage lighting, theatrical stage lighting. And while I was in that

program that was CW Post and Long Island, they began, you know, this was in the early 70s. So

they began like many schools, a filmmaking program, which I eagerly enrolled in and you know,

made some, made some short films and super eight and 16 millimeter and so on and so on.
