Welcome, everyone, to a throwback Thursday edition of the Sports Spectrum podcast.

I'm Jason Romano.

Thanks for joining us on the program today.

This week, we are actually in Minneapolis for the Final Four Sports Spectrum.

It is and excited to work with ministries like athletes in action and the fellowship of Christian

athletes and certainly the nation of coaches. We had Tommy Kyle on the podcast back in December.

They're doing great things in college basketball for God and sports spectrum will be there

as well. And we're excited to bring back an interview we did at the beginning of this college

basketball season

with Tony Bennett, the Virginia men's basketball coach. And last year, of course, Virginia

lost as a one seed to a 16 seed, the first team to ever do that in the 2018 tournament.

This year, they're in the final four. So a really cool story of redemption.

And if you've been following social media at all,

and there's been a lot of posts about Coach Tony Bennett

and some of his press conferences and the answers that he gives

are just really encouraging and not, I guess, forcing faith in there, but living out his faith in a way

that really we're all called to do, you know, faith being at the center of who we are.

Coach Bennett lives that out so well. And I thought it'd be great to bring back a good portion

of our podcast interview that
