Good evening. This is John Bacheler, tonight on the show.

A conversation several times about where is the recession

that is no longer expected. Where did it go? I speak with Gene Marks,

a small business columnist for the Guardian and the Philadelphia Inquirer and other distinguished publications.

About the metrics we've had for months and months and months,

showing that there is no recession on the horizon, that the economy is very strong.

The jobs market is very strong and the travel, the hotel rates,

all of this showing us that there's vigor in the American economy.

Well, finally, the Federal Reserve in making the 11th hike in a year is now coming out to say,

well, there won't be a recession after all. I also speak to Jim McTake about it.

He is in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, a beautiful county or the Amish.

And he watches consumption, Tesla consumption, a consumption at Costco and the prices.

And while Jim is a bear for the market, he acknowledges that the American economy is so strong

that it's overcome all obstacles to remain growing.

We had a number for the second quarter that was very promising.

Also tonight, discouraging news from Bob Zimmerman at Behind the Black,

that the FAA is announced that Starship and Super Heavy, the next test,

will not be sooner rather later.
