Good evening. The show begins tonight in Iran asking the question at the center of the

disorder in the Middle East, where is Iran going with these provocations using its surrogates.

The U.S. and the UK are responding, airstrikes, bombing, destruction of launch facilities, and

still Iran keeps playing its surrogates to attack, to provoke,

to upset, to disorder the Middle East.

Where is it going? We begin in the Middle East and then we go to Pakistan, where there's

an election pending. The former Prime Minister is now in jail and sentenced to 34 years concurrently for different crimes brought by, we presume,

agents of the all-powerful military. The man who will be the new Prime Minister is an old Prime Minister,

Novashirif who was castigated by the military back in 2017-2018, replaced by Khan. This seems very much a game that Raoul Pindi, that's the

headquarters of the military play, watching at the same time that Pakistan remains extremely vulnerable to attacks by

jihadists and without funds, without adequate funds overwhelmingly in debt

surrounded by trouble, trouble of the neighborhood in China,

trouble of the neighborhood in Afghanistan,

trouble in the neighborhood in Baluchistan. We then turn to the question in Canada about Chinese

influence agents in Ottawa. Charles Burton joins Gordon Chang and myself to

talk about a parliamentary inquiry into allegations of Chinese

actors, Chinese agents in Canada. And then the AI arms race underway between China, Russia, and the United States.

It's difficult to judge because the only AI that we see commercially is 2.0 and I'm told they're working on 4.0 in the

chambers of the labs of high-tech and then it's off to a conversation with John Cochran of Hoover Institution about what former

President Trump caught right in 2016.
