Good evening. The show begins tonight with Katrina Vanenhovel, measuring

Zellenski's appearance in Buenos Aires for the inauguration of Javier Milay,

and then Zellensinski's appearance in Washington to confer with the US Senate about

appropriations designated by the White House for Ukraine and then we're told to meet with the president.

elections in 2024 held as scheduled. I then move to another general, this one

the general and chief of the Pakistan military, Asim Munir, who was in Washington for talks with the National Security Council and the Defense Department about Pakistan leaning back

towards the American way, away from the Chinese way.

These last years Pakistan has gone through a rough patch of bad

luck, bad weather, bad management, and a man named Imran Khan who remains in

jail. I speak to Arafrafeek and learn the melodrama of Imran Khan and how he

and Asim Munir the general have a troubled conversation for many years. And then Bill Rajo joins to talk about a

podcast he did with colleagues, Zach and Stu, who were veterans not only in uniform of the Iraq-Afghanistan

conflict but also as contractors, intelligence contractors to provide information

about the Taliban about al-Qaeda, about bad actors in both countries,

chiefly at the end in 2016 in Kandahar about the Taliban.
