in NATO, saying that in order to end this war now, Ukraine needed to treat territory for

peace and join NATO immediately.

NATO is a protective article.

You attack NATO, you have any member of NATO, you attack all of it.

So in theory, it is a good offer.

You take this, and we're going to join NATO, and you'll never attack us again.

This was reported in London immediately afterwards, Keith Blasted Rejection.

Now this is a senior assistant, Ian Stoltenberg, the general secretary of NATO, who's been

extended another year by the participants in NATO, the meeting most recently in Lithuania.

It is not an idle mistake, it's significant.

Moscow heard it, Beijing heard it, Washington heard it.
